Lent

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 5. During this introspective season of 40 days (plus Sundays) that lead up to Easter, we’ll allow the Gospel of Luke to guide us as we lean into everything [in] between: Meeting God in the midst of extremes. Jesus’ ministry was rooted in relationships that disrupted the social, political, and religious divides of his time. We sometimes miss the “shock factor” behind Jesus’ words and actions, which questioned cultural and political polarities in light of the radical, inclusive, and surprising love of God. We’ll watch black-and- white polarities give way to spectrums of nuance and possibility where God awaits us.

Sunday Worship 10:00 am.

Special Offering for the Lenten Season

This Lenten season, we invite you to join us in supporting life-changing ministries through the Collegiate Wesley Lenten Special Offerings. Your generous gifts will help empower missionaries like Katherine Parker, who serves in Nepal, bringing hope and support to communities in need. You’ll also be contributing to vital local efforts of Food at First, offering shelter and resources through Good Neighbor, and aiding the Collegiate Wesley Community Assistance fund, which helps those facing financial hardships. Together, we can make a lasting impact—thank you for your compassion and generosity.
