Homecoming weekend is a wonderful time to come back to a place that holds memories—and to see what’s happening now!

This Sunday, we invite all of our Wesley students, alumni, and Collegiate/Wesley friends to join us for worship at 10:00 a.m. and stay afterward for a special Homecoming lunch in the Wesley Hall. We’ve put together a baked potato bar with lots of toppings, a fresh salad bar, and a special treat for dessert. Come hungry, stay awhile, and enjoy some good food and good conversation with old and new friends.

While you’re here, be sure to stop by the Wesley Student Lounge and see its recent refresh. Thanks to funds from an Endowment grant, we’ve been able to make some changes that have created a more welcoming, comfortable, and functional space for our students.

It has been especially meaningful to hear students comment on how valued they feel because Collegiate/Wesley has chosen to invest in them and in their experience at Iowa State University.

And there’s plenty happening in the Wesley Center! We currently have four student Bible studies meeting each week, along with opportunities for students to gather, study, eat, relax, play board games, ask questions, build friendships, and explore faith together.

So, whether your Wesley days were recent or many years ago, come back and see what’s happening! We’d love to worship with you, share a meal, show you the refreshed student lounge, and celebrate the ongoing ministry of Wesley Center campus ministry together.

Blessings,

Jena
